 Naija-Books  publish

 Nigerian book authors.

We have a record of producing exceptional books of every genre.

I adore the work of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, this inspiring woman was the one that reminded me of life in Lagos. Her vibrant stories of the country enthral me, with vivid descriptions of the chaos of Lagos and the surrounding area. Lazy weekends at Bar Beach or Tarkwa Bay. Many portions from her novels have stuck with me over time and still cause me to reflect upon myself. She’s also an incredible speaker, just look at one of her quotes about travel, “I think you travel to search and you come back home to find yourself there.”

Of course, any fan of Nigerian fiction could never leave out Wole Soyinka or Chinua Achebe including his classic Things Fall Apart, the most widely read book in modern African literature.

So, to celebrate the best in Nigerian fiction and non-fiction and also to provide a channel for unknown Nigerian authors to display their work I started Naija-Books.

Roving Heights our distributor in Nigeria is an online book distribution company founded by Tobi Eyinade and they provide books to its customers all over Nigeria. It has an online bookstore for book lovers to easily browse and buy affordable books to read.
